A Court of Splintered Harmony midnight release events

How exciting that we are within touching distance of the long anticipated return to Prythian with A Court of Splintered Harmony! It’s going to be awesome being able to dive back into this world and be reunited with our favourite high lord & lady and our inner circle.

We are super hyped for this and obviously have some really cool things planned that we wanted to give you a little more info on.

There are two ways you can get involved for the release of ACOTAR 6 - by joining us at midnight to collect your book, or by joining us a little earlier for our Valkyrie Sleepover event!

We'll all countdown to midnight together, and you can then grab your book and run home to read it under the covers.

We will, of course, be opening the doors of the shop on the evening of 26th October at midnight until 1:30am, so you can collect your pre-order as soon as it’s released. There is no cost or ticket required for this!

We are expecting a queue, but don’t worry - we will be making this a fun one with a little prediction competition. You'll even be able to win some super cool SJM swag! 

We will have some copies of A Court of Splintered Harmony available to purchase on the night, but we strongly advise you to preorder your copy beforehand! This is so we don't run out on the night (imagine going home empty handed, argh!), and so we can get your books handed out more quickly. We all want to be reading them as soon as possible!

We don’t know how many people will want these books (we assume everyone, ever, right?!) and will therefore try our best to have stock on the shelves, but your absolute best way to guarantee your copy on release day is to get your pre-orders in.

Annoyingly, no. 

However, Bloomsbury are re-releasing the hardbacks of ACOTAR 1-5 with new full colour covers, which will then match A Court of Splintered Harmony and A Court of Forgotten Melody (releasing 12th January 2027).

We know the need for a matching set is real, and so we've discounted the full box set of ACOTAR 1-5, which you can pre-order here. These will only be discounted until publication day on 13th October 2026.

Gods yes! We'll have the same plans for midnight, as well as a pre-midnight event. More news on this coming soon! 

Again, we strongly encourage you to pre-order your copy of A Court of Forgotten Melody beforehand!

To celebrate this momentous book release, we are also hosting a Valkyrie Sleepover, for a very limited number on 26th October from 9:30pm - midnight. 

As you’d expect with a sleepover, we will have late night snacks, friendship bracelet making, themed quizzes & more. As well as copious amounts of Maasverse theorising! 

If all this gorgeous fun wasn’t enough, you will also get your books before everyone else, as the second it turns midnight - the precious tome will be in your hands first!

Tickets, as we’ve said, will be super limited (and do NOT include the book). They go on sale here at 8pm on 21st August - so you have to be quick if you want to be there. They will be £20.00 and include some SJM goodies too. 

Pyjamas & slippers are encouraged, but not mandatory.

We cannot wait to experience this one with you all, trust me, we are just as excited as you to be travelling back to Pythian.
