Indie author book submissions

Do you want to see your book on our shelves?

We will be holding some shelf space in the bookshop for indie authors. Please bear in mind that we are a very small team and and get a lot of requests from authors - we cannot guarantee a reply to all submissions.

Before submitting - please read this guide from the Booksellers Association. It provides information on how to approach booksellers and what to expect when working with retailers. All bookshops operate differently and make decisions to best suit their shop and customers, so if you don't hear back from us - don't be disheartened!

Terms

Our terms are 40% and we take books on a consignment basis for three months. You will need to contact us three months after we receive the book for an update on sales. If it has sold, we'll ask you to send us an invoice. If it hasn't sold you will have one month to collect the book. After this, or if we haven't heard from you, we will donate the book to charity.

Our initial request will be for a single copy of the book. If it sells quickly we may then request multiple copies.

Note

We are a fantasy exclusive bookshop and therefore only accept fantasy submissions.
